What does Scene Studio do?
Scene Studio adds a visual shopping experience to a Shopify storefront. Shoppers select catalog products, choose a style, optionally upload a room or table photo, and create an illustrative AI preview. They can then add the selected product variants to the cart.
Is the preview an exact representation of my products?
No. The preview is an AI-generated illustration for inspiration. Product appearance, colors, proportions, and placement can vary. Shoppers should use your product descriptions and measurements to make a purchase decision.
Can shoppers use their own photo?
Yes, a photo is optional. Shoppers must confirm that they have permission to upload it and allow processing by the AI provider identified in the widget. Uploaded photos and generated previews are temporary; see our privacy policy for how files and usage records are handled.
How do I control image usage?
The merchant dashboard tracks successful generations and requests in progress. You can set a maximum image count, control whether extra usage is allowed, and choose an extra usage budget. Shopper previews and merchant tests share the same store allowance.
Can I make the widget fit my storefront?
The shopper experience is added through a Shopify theme app block. You can adjust colors, typography, layout, spacing, headings, and button copy in the theme editor, and enable or pause new shopper generations from the app.
When can I install it, and what does it cost?
Public launch plans and pricing are being finalized. New public installations will be available through the Shopify App Store listing once it is published. Shopify shows subscription prices and usage rates for approval before paid usage.
